Record Sales Continue for Chrysler New Zealand
  • Chrysler achieves record sales for the month once again, resulting in a record quarter.
  • Jeep Grand Cherokee named Driven Best of 2011 Car of the Year Awards SUV/Crossover category winner

A revitalised model range for the Chrysler Jeep and Dodge brands in New Zealand has boosted sales to record levels with a record month and best ever quarter result, according to official MIA figures released for December. The sales performance was attributed to the outstanding sale of Dodge Journey and the award-winning all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee released to NZ market earlier in the year.

Chrysler Goes Hi-Tech With 8-Speed Transmission

The company has announced a US$300million investment plan to build the advanced new transmission at a plant in Kokomo, Indiana, with the first products due in 2013. Though the deal signed with ZF of Germany includes the ability to import fully built transmissions to fit to Chrysler Group vehicles before that date.

Upgraded Chrysler 300C Now More Enhanced

The award-winning car that continues to make everything else on the road seem ordinary has received minor changes to the rear fascia and tail lamps, with the sedan now sporting a rear deck lid featuring an SRT-inspired integrated spoiler and high-mounted stop light. The dramatic nose and the classic long-bonnet, short-deck styling remain unchanged.
